Cranleigh Abu Dhabi invites applications for an AV & Production Technician to join our school from August 2026. This role supports our performing arts and events programmes, delivering sound, lighting and AV for concerts, assemblies and large-scale productions.

The ideal candidate has experience with live sound, theatre lighting, event production and maintaining AV systems, with a focus on delivering high professional standards across school events.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in AV, technical theatre, events or performing arts support.
• Experience with live events, concerts and productions involving multiple performers.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and troubleshoot the school's AV equipment (sound, lighting, projection, recording).
• Set up, operate and strike AV gear for assemblies, productions, performances and events.
• Provide technical support to staff, students and external providers during events.
• Maintain theatre and performing arts equipment and ensure readiness year-round.
• Support livestreaming, recording and multimedia needs for events.
