Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled nurse to provide general and specialized direct and indirect patient care on the assigned unit, applying evidence-based nursing procedures. The role covers patients of all ages and requires competency in addressing behavioral, growth, development and psychosocial needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum three-year nursing curriculum from an accredited program required.
• Minimum two years post-graduate experience in a EP Lab/Cath as a Nurse.
• Valid and current national nursing license required.
• BLS certification from AHA or equivalent, or within 3 months.
• ACLS, PALS relevant to the specialty, or within 6 months of employment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and MS Office skills.

Job description

This position is responsible for providing general and specialized direct and indirect patient care through the application of evidence-based nursing procedures and practices to patients of all ages on assigned nursing unit. This position is also responsible for demonstrating competency in the behavioral, growth, development and psychosocial needs of patients being treated.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification is required
• A minimum three (3) year curriculum in Nursing from an accredited program is required

Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience in a Ep Lab/Cath as a Nurse

Certification and Licensure

• Valid and current national license is required
• BLS is required from AHA or an equivalent organization or must be obtained within 3 months of employment
• ACLS, PALS relevant to the area of specialty is required, from AHA or an equivalent organization; or must be obtained within 6 months of employment
