Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years in quick-commerce, food delivery, e-commerce, or fast-paced tech startup.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and impact modeling.
• Advanced data querying and visualization with SQL, BigQuery, Looker; ability to build dashboards.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into business strategy.
• Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint; ability to leverage AI tools to automate workflows.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration across multiple units.

WHAT’S ON YOUR PLATE?

This role will drive high-impact strategic projects, uncover data-driven insights, and support key decision-making across the business. The scope will cover the following:

• Performance Analysis & Monitoring: Track talabat’s core performance metrics, diving into daily and weekly datasets to detect operational trends, flag anomalies, and highlight quick-win optimization opportunities.

• Dashboard & Tool Creation: Design, maintain, and automate interactive dashboards (Excel, Google Sheets, AI tools) to give stakeholders clear, real-time visibility into operational effectiveness and key business metrics.

• KPI Tracking & Reporting: Assist in tracking critical business indicators against targets, translating complex quantitative data into clear, structured reports and visual summaries for periodic business reviews.

• Deep Dives: Conduct granular regional and country-level analyses to map localized performance drivers, identify operational bottlenecks, and surface growth potential.

• Managerial Support & Strategic Insights: Partner closely with managers by synthesizing data to drive actionable, key insights across ongoing projects, directly supporting strategic decision-making and executive business reviews.

• Actionable Recommendations: Synthesize analytical deep dives into clear, data-backed insights to assist cross-functional teams in refining commercial, operational and vertical strategies.

WHAT DID WE ORDER?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Industry Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in quick-commerce, food delivery, e-commerce, or a fast-paced tech startup environment.

• Financial/Business Acumen: Strong experience in P&L analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and business impact modeling.

• Data & Analytics Expertise: Advanced proficiency with data querying and visualization tools (SQL, BigQuery, Looker, etc.), with a proven ability to build quick, high-impact dashboards using large data volumes.

• Problem-Solving & Strategy: Proven track record of structuring complex problems, conducting deep analysis, and synthesizing data into actionable business strategies.

• Tech & AI Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides; actively leverages AI tools to automate workflows and expedite execution.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence teams across multiple operational units.
