Job summary

Delivery Hero is hiring a Sr. Specialist Fleet to oversee last-mile logistics across the region, driving operational excellence and implementing tools to improve fleet performance. You will manage a team supporting riders, track daily metrics, and coordinate with 3PLs for driver standards.

Responsibilities include KPI monitoring, reporting, and planning store/region launches while ensuring optimal supply and cost efficiency. A strong background in fleet management and data analysis is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–4 years experience in fleet roles and at least 2 years in fleet management.
• Proven experience in managing a fleet of drivers or logistics teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for large data analysis.
• Strong commercial awareness and familiarity with lean economics.

Job description

As the Sr. Specialist Fleet you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our last-mile logistics across the region. This position involves overseeing key areas of operationswhether outbound inbound or reverse logisticsand ensuring that our fleet meets the highest standards of performance. As a key team member you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and implementing progressive tools and technologies to enhance fleet efficiency.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Providing hands-on operational support for last mile implementations
• Ensuring the fleet meets key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery speed cancellation rates unit economics and star ratings. Have these KPIs readily available for regular discussions
• Managing a team that directly supports riders tracking daily performance metrics
• Identifying and help in implementing new tools technologies and processes to improve fleet efficiency and operational performance
• Tracking progress and improvements in fleet operations providing detailed reports to management
• Preparing ad-hoc reports required by management
• Planning new launches of stores and regions and ensure optimum supply is available
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for seasonal peak/off-peak periods and plan driver supply.
• Liaising with 3PL providers to ensure their driver performance is efficient and meets the companys standards
• Mentoring and supporting new team members

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-4 years experience in fleet roles and at least 2 years in fleet management
• Proven experience in managing a fleet of drivers or logistics teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for managing and analyzing large data sets on vehicle performance driver behavior and costs
• Strong commercial awareness
• Familiarity with lean economics
