Job summary

Second Talent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java/Python) to lead a delivery-focused engineering team in Bahrain. The role involves hands-on development, architecture guidance, and driving end-to-end software delivery across cloud-enabled projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record in agile environments. You will collaborate with product, design and QA to ship high-quality software while shaping technical strategy.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience with Java or Python.
Strong foundation in software architecture, design patterns and best practices.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
Experience working in Agile environments with fast-moving teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Design and build high-quality, scalable solutions using Java or Python.
Oversee full SDLC from planning to deployment and coordinate with stakeholders.
Architect and integrate cloud-native services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
