Job summary

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading Tier 1 contracting company in the UAE to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor MEP for high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity surveying, contract administration and commercial management of MEP works across large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in contracting companies.
• Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects.
• Strong understanding of quantity surveying, cost control and contract administration for MEP works.
• Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, project costing and variation management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple commercial priorities and project deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage quantity surveying and commercial activities for MEP works on high-rise building projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, tender evaluations and budget analysis.
• Review project drawings, specifications and contract documents for quantity take-offs and cost control.
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims and subcontractor payments.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and procurement teams on commercial matters.
• Prepare and review interim valuations, payment applications and final accounts.
• Ensure proper documentation and tracking of project costs and commercial records.
• Identify commercial risks and support mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company standards and project requirements.
