NMDC in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Offshore Materials & Logistics Coordinator to plan and execute end-to-end material management for offshore projects, from identification to delivery and project closeout.
You will oversee procurement, tracking, storage, issuance and certification of materials, maintain updated records with photos, and coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure timely, compliant delivery.
Plan and execute end-to-end material management from identification to offshore delivery and project closeout.
Develop and apply project-specific material management procedures.
Review and improve existing processes to align with project scope and address gaps.
Oversee procurement, tracking, storage, issuance, and certification of materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain updated inventory records, calibration logs, and documentation with photos.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant delivery of materials.
Validate procurement lists with engineering and construction teams.
Implement Bag & Tag as per work packs and ensure proper preservation and reconciliation of tools and surplus.
Monitor stock, identify shortages, and escalated procurement needs.
Generate material issuance notes and offshore material status reports.
Support offshore teams with real-time logistics and materials coordination.
Manage offshore AMRs and supervise storekeepers for compliance.
Coordinate logistics, customs documentation, and cargo load-outs for sea transport.
Track and ensure safe, timely offshore material delivery.
Maintain accurate records and generate reports on inventory and material movement.
Reconcile and prepare RTS documentation and final inventory at project close.
Lead material and logistics team while promoting safety and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

Diploma in a related discipline, or equivalent
Certification in logistics or supply chain management
Valid Offshore Training certifications
Minimum 05 years of experience in material and logistics coordination, with a focus on offshore operations
Understanding of the Offshore Oil and Gas/ Energy / EPCI sector
Understanding of Logistics / Transportation to KSA by road, air, sea
Capable of using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Capable of using external software such as SAP or similar Oracle based tools deployed in their previous organization
Capable in conversing clear and concisely in English (spoken and written)
Capable of having good interpersonal & communication skills
Experienced in developing the list of tools / tackles / equipment required for Offshore Construction
Experienced with Offshore Store Operations for controlling issuance of materials (tools / tackles / consumables)
