Job summary

SHADES INTERIORS LLC is seeking a senior interior designer with 7–15 years of UAE fit-out or Design & Build experience. You will lead design concepts, space planning, and FF&E selections while coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and site teams to ensure flawless project delivery.

You will review drawings, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and maintain design quality within budgets and timelines.

Job description

• Develop design concepts, space planning, mood boards, material selections, and client presentations for interior fit-out projects.

• Prepare creative and functional design solutions that meet client requirements, project budgets, and timelines.

• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and support design presentations and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

• Work closely with technical designers, architects, MEP engineers, quantity surveyors, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Prepare and review design drawings, shop drawings, material specifications, and FF&E selections in coordination with the design team.

• Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is maintained, resolve design-related site issues, and support project delivery.

• Source and specify finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories while balancing functionality, aesthetics, and budget requirements.

• Assist in ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with quality standards, project schedules, and client expectations.

• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, UAE regulations, and emerging design technologies to continuously improve design solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.

• 7–15 years of experience in UAE fit-out or Design & Build projects.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and rendering software (3ds Max, Enscape, Lumion, or V-Ray); Revit is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of UAE building regulations and fit-out standards.

• Strong portfolio of commercial, retail, hospitality, F&B, and residential projects.
