Job summary

Continuum Shield Solution is seeking a skilled plural‑component polyurea/polyurethane spray technician in Abu Dhabi. You will operate high‑pressure spray rigs, maintain equipment, and ensure coatings meet exact thickness and finish specifications.

Responsibilities include surface preparation per TDS, leading a small team on-site, and strict adherence to safety protocols for reactive chemicals. English communication is essential; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hands-on 3–5 years in plural-component polyurea/polyurethane spray applications.
• Experience operating heated proportioning equipment (Graco Reactor, PMC, or similar).
• Strong surface preparation knowledge (Sa 2.5 sandblasting, moisture testing).

Responsibilities

• Operate plural-component spray rigs to apply coatings at correct temperature, pressure, and mix ratio.
• Prepare surfaces per manufacturer requirements including sandblasting and moisture checks.
• Achieve consistent film thickness and coverage on complex geometries.
• Lead a small on-site workshop/application team ensuring quality and safety.
• Maintain and troubleshoot spray equipment, hoses, pumps, and spray guns.
• Follow health and safety procedures for reactive chemicals; use PPE, ventilation, spill response.
• Keep accurate records of batch usage, coverage, and application conditions.

Job description

• Operate plural-component spray rigs e g Graco Reactor or equivalent to apply polyurea polyurethane coatings at the correct temperature pressure and mix ratio
• Prepare surfaces concrete steel and other substrates per manufacturer TDS requirements including sandblasting moisture checks and primer application where needed
• Achieve consistent film thickness and coverage across complex geometries vehicle panels fuel tanks barriers structures
• Lead and guide a small application team on-site and in the workshop ensuring quality and safety standards are met
• Maintain clean and troubleshoot spray equipment heated hoses pumps spray guns mix modules
• Follow all health and safety procedures for handling reactive chemical components PPE ventilation spill response
• Keep accurate records of batch usage coverage and application conditions
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with plural‑component polyurea/polyurethane spray application
• Proven experience operating heated proportioning equipment (Graco Reactor, PMC, or similar)
• Strong understanding of surface preparation standards (e.g. Sa 2.5 sandblasting, moisture testing)
• Experience leading or supervising a small team preferred
• Comfortable working in industrial/factory environments, including exposure to heat, noise, and PPE requirements
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus
