Job summary

Dubai Culture is seeking a senior museum operations professional to lead the preparation and implementation of strategic and operational plans for its specialized museums. You will manage budgeting, KPIs, and policy development while coordinating with local and international partners.

You will ensure documentation, preservation of artifacts, annual inventories, and education collaborations, reporting to management with regular updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, History, Archaeology, or equivalent from an accredited university.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in budgeting and financial monitoring for department needs.
• Strong knowledge of museum operations, policies and procedures.
• Experience coordinating with local and international museums and cultural centers.
• Ability to prepare annual reports and communications materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement strategic and operational plans with KPIs.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets for the museums department.
• Develop and apply policies, procedures, and operations in the department.
• Document and preserve artifacts within approved programs and records.
• Inventory museum artifacts and oversee preservation.
• Coordinate with media, marketing, and education sectors for programs.
• Coordinate visits for official domestic and international delegations.
• Manage daily revenues and allocation with the finance department.
• Promote knowledge exchange with local and international museums.
• Prepare annual reports on achievements and improvements.
