Job summary

Talentspoc is seeking an experienced Specialist Otolaryngologist (ENT) to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions. You will diagnose, treat, and manage ENT disorders across adults and children, performing procedures within your training and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology/ENT (MS, DNB, MRCS, FRCS, Arab Board).
• Minimum 3 years post-specialization experience.
• Experience in general ENT and common ENT surgical procedures.
• Strong communication and patient-management abilities.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ENT consultations, examinations, and treatment planning.
• Diagnose and manage ear, nose, throat, sinuses, voice, and head and neck conditions.
• Perform ENT procedures and minor to major surgeries within training.
• Manage acute ENT emergencies such as epistaxis and airway issues.
• Collaborate with audiologists, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and others.
• Counsel patients about diagnosis, options, risks, and follow-up.
• Maintain patient records and participate in quality improvement.

Job description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Otolaryngologist (ENT Specialist) to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions. The role involves diagnosis, treatment, ENT procedures, and appropriate surgical management across adult and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations, examinations, and treatment planning.
• Diagnose and manage conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, voice, and head and neck.
• Manage conditions including sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, tonsillitis, otitis, hearing disorders, tinnitus, vertigo, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
• Perform and interpret otoscopy, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and other ENT examinations.
• Perform appropriate minor and major ENT procedures within clinical expertise.
• Manage acute ENT emergencies including epistaxis, foreign bodies, airway obstruction, and severe infections.
• Perform procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery where appropriately trained.
• Evaluate patients with hearing, balance, swallowing, voice, and airway disorders.
• Review and interpret audiometry, CT, MRI, X-rays, laboratory investigations, and other diagnostic results.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, pediatricians, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, risks, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in quality improvement and continuing medical education.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS / DNB / MRCS / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Strong experience in general ENT and common ENT surgical procedures.
• Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and patient-management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
