Job summary

Talentspoc is seeking an experienced ENT Specialist (Otolaryngologist) in the UAE to provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and procedural care for ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions. Outpatient consultations, diagnostics, and minor surgeries form the core of the role.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including audiologists and radiologists, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to UAE regulations.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with recognized ENT training.
• Postgraduate qualification in ENT/Otolaryngology required.
• Experience diagnosing and managing a wide range of ENT conditions.
• Hands-on ENT diagnostic procedures and minor surgical interventions.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork with other specialists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations and examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute/chronic ENT conditions and balance disorders.
• Perform nasal endoscopy and laryngoscopy as appropriate.
• Carry out minor ENT procedures within approved scope.
• Coordinate pre/post-operative care and follow-up.
• Review investigations and communicate options to patients.
• Collaborate with audiologists, radiologists, and other teams.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and participate in audits.

Job description

Our leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced ENT Specialist (Otolaryngologist) to provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and procedural care for patients with conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.

The role includes outpatient consultations, diagnostic procedures, minor surgical interventions, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations, clinical examinations, and patient assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, voice, and upper airway.
• Manage conditions including sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, otitis media, hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, tonsillitis, adenoid disorders, nasal obstruction, and voice and swallowing disorders .
• Perform appropriate ENT diagnostic procedures, including nasal endoscopy and laryngoscopy.
• Perform minor ENT procedures and surgical interventions within the approved scope of practice.
• Evaluate and manage hearing and balance disorders and interpret relevant audiological investigations.
• Assess and manage ENT emergencies, including epistaxis, foreign bodies, and airway-related conditions.
• Identify patients requiring surgical intervention and coordinate appropriate treatment.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative assessment and follow-up care.
• Review and interpret laboratory investigations, imaging, audiological assessments, and other diagnostic results.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, risks, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, pediatricians, maxillofacial surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, departmental meetings, and continuing medical education.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, infection-control standards, patient-safety requirements, and facility policies.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in ENT / Otolaryngology .
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of ENT conditions.
• Experience in ENT diagnostic procedures and minor surgical interventions.
