Job summary

Astra ProMed in Dubai is seeking an experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility. You will provide comprehensive otolaryngology care, diagnose and manage ear, nose, throat and head and neck conditions, and perform elective and emergency ENT procedures.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team including audiologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists and oncologists to deliver patient-centered care, participate in teaching and quality-improvement initiatives, and

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT per UAE licensing requirements.
• Fellowship or advanced training in a relevant ENT subspecialty is desirable.
• Eligible for or holding a DHA Consultant license/eligibility in the relevant specialty.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of adult ENT conditions; pediatric cases where applicable.
• Perform elective and emergency ENT surgical procedures within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with audiologists, radiologists, speech therapists, anesthesiologists, oncologists and other specialists.
• Provide consultations and second opinions for complex ENT cases; counsel patients and families on diagnosis, options, risks and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliant with UAE regulations.

We're Hiring | Consultant ENT Surgeon

Location: Dubai

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant ENT Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive otolaryngology care, including the diagnosis and surgical management of ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck conditions, while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of adult and, where applicable, pediatric ENT conditions
• Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations and clinical examinations
• Perform elective and emergency ENT surgical procedures within the scope of practice
• Manage conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, and head and neck
• Perform appropriate endoscopic, microscopic, and minimally invasive ENT procedures where qualified
• Evaluate and manage chronic ear disease, hearing-related conditions, nasal obstruction, sinus disease, and throat disorders
• Provide surgical management of tonsillar and adenoid disease, nasal and sinus conditions, and other relevant ENT disorders
• Conduct preoperative assessments and provide postoperative care and follow-up
• Collaborate with audiologists, radiologists, speech therapists, anesthesiologists, oncologists, and other specialists
• Provide consultations and second opinions for complex ENT cases
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and expected outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and facility policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and teaching activities where applicable

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT, in accordance with applicable UAE licensing requirements
• Additional fellowship or advanced training in a relevant ENT subspecialty is highly desirable
• Eligible for or holding a valid DHA Consultant license/eligibility in the relevant specialty
• Demonstrated experience in ENT diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, surgical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development
