Job summary

SearchPlus HR is seeking a Specialist Neurosurgeon for a premium healthcare provider in the UAE. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spine, and nervous system and possess recognized Western specialist qualifications.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, perform complex neurosurgical procedures, and lead preoperative and postoperative care while advancing clinical quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Recognized postgraduate specialist qualification in Neurosurgery.
• Relevant specialist training and clinical experience in neurosurgical practice.
• Western board certification or an equivalent recognized specialist qualification.
• Strong surgical, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Eligibility for Specialist Neurosurgeon licensing with the UAE health authority (DHA/DOH/MOHAP).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
• Perform neurosurgical procedures according to specialist training and clinical privileges.
• Evaluate patients with brain tumors, spinal disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurosurgical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and determine appropriate surgical or non-surgical interventions.
• Provide preoperative assessments, postoperative management, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to patient safety and clinical quality standards.
