Job summary

TalentSpoc in Dubai, UAE seeks a Specialist Neurosurgeon to diagnose and surgically treat brain, spine, and peripheral nerve conditions. You will lead complex neurosurgical cases, plan procedures, and provide comprehensive perioperative care.

The ideal candidate has an MBBS and advanced neurosurgery qualification with at least 3 years post–fellowship experience; strong surgical skills, teamwork, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS/MCh/DNB or equivalent in Neurosurgery.
• Minimum 3 years post-specialization experience.
• Strong neurosurgical procedural experience.
• Excellent surgical skills and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Strong communication and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with complex neurosurgical conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures.
• Manage brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system conditions.
• Perform procedures for brain tumors, spinal disorders, trauma, and other neurosurgical conditions.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
• Manage neurosurgical emergencies and trauma cases.
• Interpret relevant neurological imaging and diagnostic investigations.
• Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, intensivists, oncologists, and other specialists.
• Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options, procedures, risks, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical and surgical documentation.
