Specialist, Government Relations

KBR is looking for Specialist, Government Relations (UAE National) to be based in Abu Dhabi.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Relations Officer (PRO), Human Resources, or a similar role within the UAE. Experience liaising with UAE government authorities, including MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, GPSSA, ADPF, Economic Departments, Municipality, and other government departments. Experience processing employment visas, labor permits, Emirates ID applications, pension registrations, and company licensing-related transactions. Familiarity with UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and government procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory entities on behalf of the company.

• Monitor regulatory changes and provide updates on government requirements and compliance obligations.
• Maintain accurate records of government transactions, approvals, and employee documentation.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

Education & Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
