Job summary

DrExpat is seeking a Specialist in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join a leading Abu Dhabi hospital, delivering rapid assessment, stabilization and life-saving care to infants and children.

You will work with pediatricians, surgeons, intensivists and nurses to provide evidence-based emergency care and to develop clinical protocols.

Candidates must hold MBBS/MD with specialization, have at least 3 years ER experience and possess DOH/HAAD license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with specialization in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric ER settings.
• Valid DOH/HAAD license or eligibility letter required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage pediatric emergency cases promptly and effectively.
• Stabilize critically ill and injured children requiring urgent intervention.
• Perform pediatric emergency procedures and advanced life support.
• Diagnose and manage acute pediatric illnesses and trauma cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary emergency and pediatric teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Follow international emergency medicine protocols and patient safety standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
