Job summary

DrExpat is seeking a Consultant Pediatrician in Dubai to deliver comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents. The role involves managing routine and complex pediatric cases, supporting emergency and inpatient services, and collaborating with neonatologists and subspecialists.

The ideal candidate holds a medical degree, board certification in pediatrics, and 8–10 years of post-specialization experience with a valid DHA/MOH/DOH license. Bilingual Arabic/English skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Board-certified or equivalent qualification in Pediatrics.
• Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization experience.
• Valid Consultant License (DHA, MOH or DOH).
• Experience managing critically ill children including ventilator support.
• Bilingual communication skills preferred (Arabic and English).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Assess and treat neonatal and pediatric emergency cases.
• Manage critically ill children requiring advanced medical care.
• Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
• Provide inpatient, outpatient and emergency consultations.
• Educate parents and caregivers on child health and preventive care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and CME.
