Job summary

NMC GROUP SERVICES. in Abu Dhabi seeks a contract lawyer to draft, review and finalise contracts, MOUs, NDAs and related agreements, ensuring risk is allocated and business interests protected.

You will align documents with governance standards and UAE regulatory requirements, review drafts from stakeholders, and coordinate with Legal and Compliance on complex matters. The role requires 1–3 years in contract drafting and in-house experience, with English fluency and knowledge of UAE laws

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in contract drafting and governance, preferably in-house or procurement.
• Experience negotiating commercial contracts is a plus.
• UAE or wider GCC work experience preferred.

• Draft, review and finalise contracts, MOUs, NDAs and related agreements to protect business interests.
• Ensure documents align with governance standards and UAE regulatory requirements.

Draft review and nbsp finalise contracts memoranda of understanding heads of terms while always ensuring reasoned risk allocation and protection of the business commercial legal and reputational interestsDraft and nbsp amend procurement-related contracts MoUs NDAs and other commercial agreements in line with company policies and templates Ensure alignment of contractual documents with internal governance standards regulatory requirements and legal risk management practices Review draft contracts from business stakeholders and incorporate appropriate revisions for clarity consistency and compliance Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE contracting practices including ADGM and onshore legal frameworks relevant to procurement Coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams where needed particularly in complex or escalated matters Present to the business on key legal risk management and contracting topics nbsp Maintain current knowledge of alterations and introductions of new UAE lawsTrack and maintain a central repository of executed contracts and proactively flag expiry or renewal timelines Assist in resolving contract-related disputes working closely with Procurement and Legal to ensure prompt and effective resolutions Provide regular reports to the Indirect Procurement leadership on contract cycle status outstanding reviews and risk areas Share the signed documents with the related parties

Education and Certification

Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
• Fluent spoken and written English
• High working proficiency in spoken and written Arabic desirable, but not essential
• Strong communicator, presenter and collaborator who can simplify complex issues to lay colleagues
• Good or ability and willingness to quickly upskill on of UAE laws, including ADGM lawsAwareness of key issues in commercial contractsAbility to manage execution processes for legal documentation.
• Highly organized and goal oriented, with a can-do attitude
• High proficiency with MS Office, including Power PointHealthcare industry experience helpful but not essentialAbility to effectively operate in a fast paced, multi-cultural, multi-stakeholder large corporate environment.

Experience

• Experience1-3 years experience in contract drafting, reviewing, and governance, preferably within a procurement or shared services function preferred
• Candidates with more PQE will not be discounted
• Experience working in-house and Healthcare experience is advantageous
• Some experience negotiating commercial contracts is preferred
• UAE or wider GCC work experience preferred
