The ideal candidate will have American Board certification in Ophthalmology, strong postgraduate training and experience in ophthalmology, plus eligibility

Qualifications

• American Board certification in Ophthalmology or equivalent.
• Postgraduate training and clinical experience in ophthalmology.
• Experience in diagnosis, treatment and surgical procedures relevant to ophthalmology.
• Valid professional registration and Good Standing Certificate, where applicable.
• Eligibility for UAE licensing through DHA/DOH/MOHAP, subject to authority assessment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat eye diseases and vision disorders.
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and interpret diagnostic investigations.
• Manage conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disorders, and corneal diseases.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the scope of clinical privileges.
• Develop treatment plans and provide preoperative and postoperative care.
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with other healthcare specialists.

• American Board certification in Ophthalmology or an equivalent recognized specialist qualification.
• Relevant postgraduate training and clinical experience in ophthalmology.
• Experience in ophthalmic diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures relevant to the position.
