You’ll diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of eye conditions while providing evidence-based, patient-centered care. If you have strong surgical expertise and experience performing ophthalmic procedures, you’ll have an added advantage.

Core Accountabilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of ophthalmic conditions using evidence-based clinical practices.
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and provide appropriate treatment plans for patients.
• Carry out ophthalmic procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while supporting patient safety, medical quality, and continuous clinical improvement.

Skills & Experience Required

• Education & Experience: Valid DHA Specialist/Consultant License or eligibility in Ophthalmology; strong clinical experience in General Ophthalmology, including diagnosis and management of eye diseases; UAE hospital experience an added advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of cataract surgery and ophthalmic surgical procedures, laser treatments and advanced ophthalmology techniques, and patient safety, clinical quality, and evidence-based medical practice.
• Core Competencies: Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills; ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
