Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy is seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgeon with a Saudi Board qualification to join a leading UAE healthcare institution in Sharjah. The role delivers comprehensive surgical care for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic conditions.

You will evaluate patients, perform CABG and valve surgeries, and manage pre- to post-operative care while collaborating with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and intensivists. UAE licensing eligibility is required for appointment.

Qualifications

• Saudi Board Certification in Cardiac Surgery / Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Valid medical registration in Saudi Arabia or the country of practice.
• Relevant clinical experience in cardiac surgery.
• Eligible for UAE medical licensing, subject to health authority assessment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate surgical management.
• Perform cardiac and cardiothoracic procedures within scope of practice.
• Manage pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care.
• Perform and assist with CABG, valve surgery, and other cardiac interventions.
• Monitor post-operative patients and manage complications.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and teams.
• Maintain medical records and participate in governance and safety initiatives.
• Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff when required.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgeon with a Saudi Board qualification to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care to patients with a range of cardiovascular and cardiothoracic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate surgical management.
• Perform cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures within the scope of clinical practice.
• Manage pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as coronary artery bypass surgery, valve surgery, and other appropriate cardiac interventions.
• Monitor patients following surgery and manage post-operative complications.
• Work closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide consultation and clinical guidance for complex cardiac cases.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.
• Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff where required.
• Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.

Requirements
