Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy in the UAE seeks an experienced Cardiac Surgeon with Saudi Board qualifications to join a leading healthcare institution. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic conditions.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, performing complex cardiac procedures, and managing perioperative care while collaborating with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Saudi Board Certification in Cardiac Surgery / Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Valid medical registration in Saudi Arabia or the current country of practice.
• Relevant clinical experience in cardiac surgery.
• Eligible for UAE medical licensing, subject to the health authority's assessment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate surgical management.
• Perform cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures within the scope of clinical practice.
• Manage pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as coronary artery bypass surgery, valve surgery, and other cardiac interventions.
• Monitor patients following surgery and manage post-operative complications.
• Work closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide consultation and clinical guidance for complex cardiac cases.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.
• Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff where required.
• Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.
