You will contribute to adult cardiac, valve and coronary surgery within a modern, multidisciplinary team and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a demanding clinical environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring adult cardiac surgical intervention.
• Perform coronary, valve, aortic and other cardiac procedures according to expertise and facility privileges.
• Lead perioperative planning in collaboration with cardiology, cardiac anaesthesia, perfusion, intensive care and rehabilitation teams.
• Participate in multidisciplinary heart-team meetings, risk assessment, informed consent and clinical outcome reviews.
• Manage postoperative recovery, complications, follow-up and long-term care coordination.
• Contribute to quality improvement, infection control, surgical registry, clinical audit and patient safety programmes.

ROLE OVERVIEW
