SearchPlus HR Consultancy is assisting a leading UAE healthcare institution in recruiting an experienced Visceral Surgeon with a Saudi Board qualification. The role focuses on surgical assessment and management of complex abdominal and GI conditions, with responsibilities spanning elective and emergency procedures, perioperative care, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The candidate should hold Saudi Board Certification in Visceral or General Surgery and possess or be eligible for UAE medical

Qualifications

• Saudi Board Certification in Visceral Surgery or General Surgery.
• Valid medical registration in the country of practice.
• Extensive clinical and surgical experience.
• Strong expertise in abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery.
• Excellent clinical, surgical, communication and decision-making skills.
• Eligible for UAE medical licensing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Perform elective and emergency visceral and abdominal procedures.
• Manage GI tract, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, spleen and other abdominal organs.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Handle surgical emergencies and complications.
• Perform minimally invasive and open procedures as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and anesthesiologists.
• Provide surgical consultations and follow-up.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Visceral Surgeon with a Saudi Board qualification to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized surgical assessment and management for patients with complex abdominal and gastrointestinal conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Perform elective and emergency visceral and abdominal surgical procedures.
• Manage conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, spleen, and other abdominal organs.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Manage surgical emergencies and post-operative complications.
• Perform appropriate minimally invasive and open surgical procedures within the scope of expertise.
• Coordinate patient care with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.
• Provide surgical consultations and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.
• Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff where required.
• Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.

• Saudi Board Certification in Visceral Surgery, General Surgery, or relevant recognized specialty.
• Valid medical registration in the country of practice.
• Relevant clinical and surgical experience.
• Strong expertise in abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery.
• Excellent clinical, surgical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Eligible for UAE medical licensing, subject to the relevant health authoritys assessment.
