Job summary

SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced Specialist/Consultant in Allergy & Immunology for a prominent UAE healthcare group. The role involves diagnosing and managing allergic and immune conditions, often in collaboration with pediatrics and other specialists.

International candidates willing to relocate are welcomed. The successful physician will provide evidence-based care, pursue ongoing CME, and participate in emergency management and immunotherapy where indicated.

Qualifications

• Recognized specialist qualification in Allergy & Immunology or Clinical Immunology per UAE licensing.
• Australian specialist qualification or equivalent internationally recognized credentials.
• Postgraduate training and clinical experience in allergy and immunology.
• Experience in diagnosing and managing complex allergic and immune-mediated conditions.
• Current professional registration and a Certificate of Good Standing.
• Eligibility for UAE healthcare licensing through DHA, DOH, or MOHAP.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage allergic and immunological conditions.
• Evaluate asthma, rhinitis, eczema, food and drug allergies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including immunotherapy where indicated.
• Identify and manage allergic emergencies such as anaphylaxis.
• Coordinate with pediatricians, pulmonologists, and other specialists.
• Educate patients and families on prevention, adherence, and emergency care.
• Maintain medical records and comply with guidelines and safety standards.

Job description

An established healthcare group in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant in Allergy & Immunology to diagnose, treat, and manage allergic diseases, immune system disorders, and related clinical conditions. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with allergies, asthma-related allergic conditions, immune deficiencies, and complex immunological disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of allergic and immunological conditions.
• Evaluate patients with allergic rhinitis, asthma, eczema, food allergies, drug allergies, and other hypersensitivity disorders.
• Diagnose and manage primary and secondary immunodeficiency conditions within the scope of specialist practice.
• Conduct and interpret appropriate allergy investigations, including skin testing and other diagnostic assessments, where trained and authorized.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management, allergen avoidance strategies, and immunotherapy where indicated.
• Identify and manage allergic emergencies, including anaphylaxis, and provide appropriate emergency treatment.
• Monitor treatment response, arrange follow-up assessments, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, pulmonologists, dermatologists, ENT specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on allergy prevention, treatment adherence, and emergency management.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical guidelines, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.

• Recognized specialist qualification in Allergy & Immunology, Clinical Immunology, or an appropriate related specialty accepted by the relevant UAE licensing authority.
• Australian specialist qualification or equivalent internationally recognized credentials, where applicable to the candidate’s specialty and licensing pathway.
• Relevant postgraduate training and clinical experience in allergy and immunology.
• Experience in diagnosing and managing complex allergic and immune-mediated conditions.
• Current professional registration and a Certificate of Good Standing, where applicable.
• Eligibility for UAE healthcare licensing through DHA, DOH, or MOHAP, subject to the relevant authority’s assessment.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
