About the Role

The Specialist Cardiologist will provide evidence-based outpatient care for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. The position combines specialist consultations, diagnostic interpretation, cardiovascular risk assessment, preventive cardiology, and ongoing disease management. Working within HealthHub 's community-based clinical setting, the cardiologist will also have the opportunity to develop long-term patient relationships and receive referrals from Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, General Practice, Pulmonology, and other specialist services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist cardiology consultations in an outpatient clinical environment.
• Diagnose, treat, and monitor acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Manage patients with hypertension, ischaemic heart disease, dyslipidaemia, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
• Interpret ECGs, Holter monitoring, echocardiography, and other cardiac diagnostic investigations.
• Develop personalised treatment plans based on individual clinical needs.
• Provide preventive cardiology programmes and cardiovascular risk assessments.
• Counsel patients on lifestyle measures that support cardiovascular health and risk reduction.
• Support ongoing management of patients with chronic cardiac conditions.
• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with DHA requirements.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support effective patient outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities and continuing medical education.

Essential Requirements

• DHA Licensed Specialist Cardiologist.
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialist clinical experience.
• Previous clinical experience in the UAE.
• Strong experience in outpatient cardiology.
• Experience managing routine and complex cardiovascular cases.
• Proven ability to interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, Holter monitors, and related cardiac investigations.
• Strong patient communication and relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to establish and maintain a patient base.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Highly Desirable

Arabic language skills, an existing patient following in Dubai, and previous experience within a multidisciplinary community clinic are desirable. Experience in preventive cardiology, chronic disease management, and cardiovascular risk-reduction programmes would also be valuable.
