Job summary

Kitopi is seeking a Senior Pizza Chef to support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and lead the pizza team to ensure consistency and quality. You will prepare, shape, and cook high-quality pizzas, oversee dough preparation, fermentation, and ingredient management while maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards.

In this role, you will manage stock levels, assist with menu updates, and contribute to new pizza recipe development in a fast-paced, diverse kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Proven pizza making skills across Neapolitan, Roman, or artisanal styles.
• Ability to lead and train a pizza team with clear communication.
• Strong dough science, fermentation, and baking knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Lead and train the pizza team to ensure consistency and quality.
• Prepare, shape, and cook high-quality pizzas using proper techniques.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in pizza making (Neapolitan, Roman, or artisanal styles).
• Previous experience as a Senior Pizza Chef or Sous Chef.
• Strong understanding of dough science, fermentation, and baking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid leadership and communication skills.
