About the Job

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Sous Chef to join our team at Yas Plaza Hotels. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for hospitality. In this role, you will assist the Executive Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine in establishing and maintaining standards in line with Yas Plaza Hotels expectations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth operation of the department by optimizing the use of materials and manpower, ultimately maximizing revenue and enhancing guest satisfaction.

About You

• 6 to 8 years of previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef position.
• Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, or Hospitality Management Degree.
• Excellent food safety and health regulations knowledge.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and maintain high standards of professionalism and efficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be proactive and able to handle high-pressure situations with ease.
