Dicetek LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design and implement data centre WAN/LAN, hybrid-cloud connectivity, VPN/ExpressRoute, and micro-segmentation for core banking and channel workloads.

You will implement Zero Trust, Terraform/Ansible automation, and Kubernetes/OpenShift networking, with a focus on DR planning, failover testing, and secure interconnects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics or related field.
• 6-10+ years in banking or financial services network engineering.
• Experience supporting core banking or large data centres / cloud transformations.
• Experience implementing payment network connectivity.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement data centre WAN/LAN and hybrid-cloud connectivity including Azure ExpressRoute and site-to-site VPN.
• Configure routing, switching, load balancers, firewalls, and network segmentation for core banking integrations and channel workloads.
• Implement Zero Trust and micro-segmentation for APIs, Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters and Kafka.
• Design connectivity for DR sites and support failover testing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Telecommunications Electronics or a related field 6 10 years of experience in network engineering with at least 4 years in banking or financial services Experience supporting a core banking implementation or a large data centre or cloud transformation Experience implementing scheme and payment network connectivity

Technical Skills

• Cisco routing and switching Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls and F5 or Citrix load balancers BGP OSPF VLANs VRFs IPsec DNS NAT and SD-WAN Azure networking including VNets ExpressRoute Azure Firewall and private endpoints Kubernetes OpenShift networking including CNI ingress controllers and service mesh Network automation with Python Ansible and Terraform Network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds ThousandEyes or equivalent

Preferred Certifications

• Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCIE Palo Alto PCNSE or Fortinet NSE 7 Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator
