Job summary

NMDC Group is seeking a QA automation engineer to design and maintain automated testing frameworks, while executing manual tests for new features until automation is ready. The role collaborates with product and engineering to define test plans, manages regression suites, and integrates tests into CI/CD for rapid, high-quality releases.

You will verify backend data and performance under varying loads. The position requires 3–5 years in software QA with automation focus and experience with tools

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) to integrate tests into the deployment pipeline.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) for backend validation.
• Proficiency in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
• Basic understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases to perform backend data verification.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
