Job summary

You will maintain records, follow school policies, support ESL and gifted students, assess progress, use technology in class, engage with parents, participate in CPD and contribute to co-curricular and pastoral programs.

Qualifications

• Deliver the required curriculum with up-to-date knowledge.
• Plan and deliver quality lessons catering to different learning styles.
• Establish and maintain records of curriculum, attendance and assessment plans.
• Follow GEMS policies, procedures and codes of conduct.
• Teach students using strategies for diverse needs (ESL, gifted, etc.).
• Set and mark work; assess and report on progress.
• Display competence in using media and technology in the classroom.
• Promote student well-being and communicate with parents as needed.
• Participate in CPD and co-curricular activities.
• Monitor behavior and foster a positive learning environment.
