Our Dubai team is looking for a passionate Social Media Executive to support our growing roster of GCC clients. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in executing social media strategies, creating content, and engaging with audiences across platforms.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who understands what makes content work across different social platforms and can confidently support social strategy, content planning, copywriting, community management, reporting, influencer activations and live event coverage.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, culturally aware and comfortable managing multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast‑paced agency environment. Arabic language skills are preferred but not essential.
Focus Areas & Responsibilities
1. Social Media Content & Execution
- Support the planning and execution of social media strategies across relevant platforms and channels.
- Create and manage social media content plans and calendars across assigned client accounts.
- Write engaging, social‑first copy that reflects each client’s brand and tone of voice.
- Support the creation of content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
- Schedule and publish content accurately and in line with agreed content calendars.
- Support day‑to‑day community management and audience engagement across client channels.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, trending formats and cultural moments that can be incorporated into client content.
- Review client briefs and contribute ideas during creative workshops, brainstorms and content planning sessions.
- Support short‑form content development, including Reels, TikToks and other social‑first formats.
- Support the development and implementation of social media strategies for assigned clients.
- Produce social media competitor and market audits to identify trends, opportunities and best practices.
- Support the setting and monitoring of KPIs to measure the impact of social media activity.
- Prepare monthly social media performance reports with clear insights and recommendations.
- Analyse performance data and apply learnings to future content calendars and social activity.
- Identify high‑performing content, audience behaviours and emerging opportunities across client accounts.
- Optimise social content where appropriate to support wider SEO and digital strategies.
- Use social listening and platform insights to inform content recommendations and identify relevant conversations.
3. Influencer, Partnership & Live Content
- Support the planning and execution of influencer and partnership campaigns.
- Coordinate with influencers, creators and partners to support campaign delivery.
- Track deliverables, timelines and content requirements across influencer activations.
- Support live event coverage, including capturing and publishing social‑first content in real time.
- Identify relevant trends, creators and content opportunities that align with client objectives.
- Support post‑campaign reporting and performance analysis.
- Work closely with the wider Social Media team to deliver high‑quality client work.
- Collaborate with Design, Paid Media, Digital and other teams to support integrated campaigns.
- Brief designers and other creative team members on social content requirements where required.
- Review social content to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with client brand guidelines.
- Respond to feedback and implement amendments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organised content calendars, project files, trackers and account documentation.
5. AI, Tools & Operational Delivery
- Use AI tools appropriately to support research, ideation, content development and workflow efficiency.
- Use social media management, scheduling, reporting and listening tools to support account delivery.
- Manage multiple client accounts, campaigns and deadlines effectively.
- Maintain accurate daily timesheets and ensure time is correctly allocated across assigned client accounts.
- Follow internal workflows, approval processes and client deadlines.
- Proactively flag potential delivery issues, delays or account risks to the wider team.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing and growing social media accounts for established brands, fast‑growing businesses and/or agency clients.
- Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Arabic language skills are preferred but not essential.
- Strong social media copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice for different brands and audiences.
- Strong understanding of GCC audiences, cultural nuances and social media behaviours.
- Strong knowledge of major social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Experience creating and managing social media content calendars.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics, reporting and performance optimisation.
- Experience with community management and audience engagement.
- Experience supporting influencer campaigns and partnerships.
- Experience with live event social media coverage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to quality check content before publication.
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple deadline‑driven projects.
- Comfortable working independently within a freelance capacity while collaborating closely with an agency team.
- Experience using social media management and listening tools such as Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with AI tools and how they can be used effectively within social media workflows.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace tools.
