Role Summary

The Social Media Executive supports school marketing managers by ideating, producing, and editing high-impact content across owned social channels. The role emphasizes short-form, platform-native video, visual storytelling, and data-informed creative optimization to strengthen brand presence and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop continuous, relevant, and engaging content aligned with brand pillars and tone
• Create videos, stills, and infographics targeted to specific audiences and trends
• Conceptualize and produce short-form video for Reels, Shorts, and similar formats
• Translate briefs into storyboards or shot lists prior to filming
• Edit content using Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, and related tools
• Apply basic motion graphics, text animation, transitions, and sound design
• Ensure visual consistency with brand guidelines while remaining platform-relevant
• Plan and maintain annual, quarterly, and monthly content calendars
• Provide engaging captions and visual assets for all owned social channels
• Cover live school and social events with quick turnaround delivery
• Collaborate cross-functionally to brainstorm and execute campaign ideas
• Create multiple creative variations for testing formats, hooks, and edits
• Monitor performance insights and refine creative output to improve engagement

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Relevant editing and creative qualifications
• Experience managing social media accounts across multiple platforms
• Strong proficiency in video and photo editing tools
• Skilled in visual storytelling, composition, lighting, framing, and sound
• Working knowledge of social media algorithms and performance drivers
• Ability to shoot content using smartphones and DSLR cameras
• Proficiency with filming tools including gimbals, microphones, and lighting
• Experience setting up studio locations for interviews and video shoots
• Confidence with on-camera presence when required
• Strong English language skills; Arabic is an advantage
