Robot24.com is seeking an experienced Social Media Content Editor to join on-site in Dubai. You will craft stories, hooks and scripts for our social channels, directing field teams and shaping content across reels, carousels and posts.
The role emphasizes rapid idea generation, viral storytelling, and the ability to translate technical robotics topics into human, entertaining narratives that resonate with a global audience; on-site collaboration with editorial, production and post-production
Robot24.com is the global leading news platform for robotics news. We create original content directly at the source through our field teams around the world.
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Content Editor to join our team on-site in Dubai.
This role has one central objective:
Turn robotics stories into social content people actually want to watch, read, share and talk about.
You will be responsible for developing the storytelling, concepts and written content behind our social media output.
Our field teams around the world travel to factories, companies, exhibitions, events and locations where robots are being used in real life.
Before they film, they need a story.
That’s where you come in.
You will research the location, company or robot being filmed and develop the creative angle, hook, script, questions and content structure that our field team will execute on location.
You will also write and develop content for our other social formats, including carousels, social posts and supporting copy.
Your responsibilities include:
This is not a traditional copywriting position.
We are looking for someone who has spent years understanding what makes people stop scrolling.
You need to understand curiosity, tension, surprise, humor, emotion and strong visual storytelling — and how these elements translate into social media.
A technically correct script that nobody wants to watch is not a successful script.
You should instinctively ask:
What’s the hook? Why would someone care? What would make someone send this to a friend? What is the moment people will remember?
We are not looking for someone whose experience consists primarily of writing corporate social posts.
We want someone who has actually worked with social content at scale and understands why some videos get 20,000 views while others get 20 million.
You should have a strong instinct for what the mass audience wants to see while still maintaining the credibility of a global news platform.
You should be comfortable taking something that initially sounds technical or niche and finding the human, surprising or entertaining angle that makes it relevant to millions of people.
This is an on-site position in Dubai, UAE.
You will work directly with our editorial, production and post-production teams from our Dubai office.
For this position, your portfolio and proven social-media experience matter significantly more than your job title.
