Job summary

RAKBANK is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager - SME Remedial to oversee a portfolio of stressed and restructured SME relationships. The role drives recoveries, minimizes credit losses and ensures compliance with credit policies and regulatory standards.

You will lead remedial actions, coordinate with Credit Risk, Collections, and Legal teams, and engage customers through negotiations and counselling to protect asset quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications in Credit, Risk or Banking are advantageous.
• Experience in SME banking, credit risk, collections, recoveries or remedial management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME customers in past due, restructured and remedial segments.
• Engage with customers to assess performance, cash flow and repayment capacity.
• Coordinate with Credit, Collections, Operations, Legal and Compliance teams.
• Develop and implement remediation, restructuring and recovery strategies.
• Monitor and report on portfolio performance, delinquencies and covenant compliance.
• Escalate high-risk situations and ensure adherence to policies.
