Job summary

Consulture Search is seeking a Business Development Manager – SME to drive new revenue within Abu Dhabi’s SME insurance market. You will identify opportunities, build a healthy pipeline, and convert prospects into long-term accounts.

You will engage with SME owners, assess risk profiles, and collaborate with underwriting to design suitable coverage. UAE market experience and a proactive, target-driven approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in insurance business development, sales or account management.
• Must have demonstrable Abu Dhabi insurance market experience.
• Experience working with SME and commercial insurance clients.
• Good understanding of UAE insurance market.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional insurance qualifications such as CII or equivalent would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new SME business opportunities across Abu Dhabi market.
• Build a pipeline through direct prospecting, referrals, networking and market engagement.
• Achieve agreed new business, revenue and portfolio growth targets.
• Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from initial engagement to conversion.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide pipeline forecasts.
