Job summary

The Ark Animal Clinic in Dubai is seeking an experienced small animal veterinarian to join our team. You will manage a varied caseload across general practice, internal medicine and surgery, with shifts that allow thorough treatment and patient care.

You will work independently when required, perform routine and soft tissue surgeries, explain diagnoses and aftercare clearly, and maintain meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate small animal clinical experience (min 5 years) in line with MOCCAE licensing requirements.
• MOCCAE licence or eligible to obtain one.
• Competent in routine and soft tissue surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and soft tissue surgical procedures to a high standard
• Manage a mixed medical and surgical small animal caseload
• Explain diagnoses, treatment plans and aftercare clearly and kindly
• Keep accurate, complete records in ezyVet
• Uphold infection control, patient safety and clinical governance
• Work across Dubai branches as operational needs require

The Ark Animal Clinic is hiring an experienced small animal veterinarian in Dubai. Five day working week, and a caseload that gives you time to work each case properly rather than pushing patients through the door.

The Ark Animal Clinic has provided companion animal care for over a decade, with two branches in Dubai and international branches beyond. The role

You will manage a varied caseload across general practice, internal medicine and surgery. Depending on the shift you may work alongside a second veterinarian or be the sole vet on the floor with nursing support, so we are looking for someone confident working independently.

You will:

• Perform routine and soft tissue surgical procedures to a high standard
• Manage a mixed medical and surgical small animal caseload
• Explain diagnoses, treatment plans and aftercare clearly and kindly
• Keep accurate, complete records in ezyVet
• Uphold infection control, patient safety and clinical governance
• Work across either Dubai branch as operational needs require
• Take part in CPD and continuous clinical development

What we are looking for

• DVM, BVSc or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of post graduate small animal clinical experience, in line with MOCCAE licensing requirements
• Valid MOCCAE licence, or clear eligibility to obtain one
• Competent and independent in routine and soft tissue surgery
• Sound diagnostic reasoning and clinical judgement
• Fluent written and spoken English

Advantageous:

• Emergency and critical care experience
• Confidence with digital radiography and ultrasound
• Experience across a broad mixed caseload
• A developing interest in medicine or a surgical area
