Job summary

JobLeader is seeking a skilled Welder for our Abu Dhabi team. The role involves welding metal components using arc, oxy-fuel, and MIG techniques, reading blueprints to determine welds, and maintaining safety standards on site.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years welding experience (5+ preferred), and a Certified Welder certification. Candidate must be able to lift up to 30lbs and work in an international business environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years welding experience required; 5+ years preferred.
• Certified Welder certification from an accredited institution required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Follow safety guidelines during the welding process.
• Cut material with saws or torches as necessary.
• Operate machinery used in the welding process such as grinders or lathes.
• Ensure that all welds meet the required specifications.
• Repair existing welds when necessary.
• Monitor equipment performance during operation.
• Report any issues related to equipment functionality or safety concerns immediately.
