Job summary

Ecojob in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Welder for Khawr Fakkan to join our construction team. The role involves performing welding duties safely and efficiently, reading blueprints, and producing sound, code-compliant welds across MIG/TIG/Arc/Gas processes.

The ideal candidate has at least five years’ experience, knowledge of various welding techniques, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety regulations and inspect work to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in welding.
• Proven experience with MIG, TIG, Arc and Gas welding.
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately and quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, grinding or fitting.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal components.
• Inspect welds and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Repair metal components using welding techniques.
• Monitor equipment performance and perform maintenance when necessary.
• Read blueprints or technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Follow all safety regulations when performing tasks.
