Qualifications

• Five years of welding experience.
• Proven experience with gas and arc welding.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid Driver’s License is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine the welding requirements.
• Utilizing electric, gas, arc, or other welding types to join metal components together securely.
• Inspecting welds for proper quality and accuracy.
• Making repairs or modifications as needed to existing welds or structures.
• Maintaining welding equipment in safe working condition at all times.
