AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented HSE Engineer (Site Supervision) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across operations, supervising activities, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture on site.

Responsibilities include audits, incident investigations, safety training, and maintaining HSE documentation in line with regulatory requirements. The role requires extensive experience and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in HSE engineering or site safety supervision.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC HSE regulations, labor laws and industry standards.
• Proven experience conducting risk assessments, hazard analyses and safety audits.
• Demonstrated expertise in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing safety management systems and procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 (preferred) and related standards.

Aufgaben

• Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identifications to prevent incidents.
• Develop and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Perform safety audits and inspections, document findings and recommend actions.
• Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures based on root cause analysis.
• Provide safety training and competency assessments for workers.
