Job summary

Black & Grey HR is seeking a Site Engineer – QA/QC for an established marble and building materials company. You will monitor site installation works, ensure conformance with drawings and specifications, perform quality inspections, and coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.

The role requires 3–5 years of site QA/QC experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Hands-on experience with WIRs, site inspections, QA/QC documentation and consultant approvals.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, checklists, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings for installation based on project requirements and approved specifications.
• Conduct accurate site measurements and prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) to consultants/clients for approval.
• Monitor installation works to ensure proper alignment, dimensions, finishing, and quality as per approved drawings and samples.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain QA/QC documentation and reports.
• Identify discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings and coordinate corrective actions.
• Assist in installation planning, material coordination, and technical verification.
• Record and report installation progress, quality issues, defects, and site observations to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with project QA/QC checklists, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with site teams, consultants, clients, and internal departments to resolve technical and quality-related issues.
• Ensure defects are identified and rectified before handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Hands‑on experience with WIRs, site inspections, QA/QC documentation, and consultant approvals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of site measurements, installation quality, finishing, and dimensional accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail with good documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, contractors, and site teams.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, checklists, and quality standards.
• Willingness to work at project sites and coordinate closely with the marble factory and installation teams.
