Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking a QA/QC professional to oversee site quality control, inspections and material verification for a Dubai-based project. You will coordinate with consultants, clients and subcontractors to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and method statements.

The role emphasizes documentation, corrective actions, and final handover dossiers, with a focus on preventing recurring quality issues and maintaining high workmanship standards on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC processes on construction sites.
• Familiarity with ISO quality management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of inspection and testing procedures for joinery, partitions and drywall systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Oversee joinery installation, fixtures, partitions and drywall systems.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare and conduct inspections with consultants and client representatives (IRs, MIRs).
• Ensure proper documentation of inspection results and verify workmanship quality at each installation stage.
• Check incoming materials against approved submittals and coordinate with Material Engineers and Procurement.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials on site.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation (IRs, MIRs, NCRs, snag lists, handover dossiers) and ensure ISO compliance.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers and subcontractors for quality compliance.
• Attend site inspections and coordination meetings with consultants; provide technical guidance to resolve quality issues.
• Lead snagging and de-snagging activities before handover; ensure defects are rectified and closed.
• Support preparation of handover documentation and final quality dossiers; identify preventive actions for recurring issues.
• Promote quality awareness among site teams.

• Attend site inspections and coordination meetings with consultants.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve quality-related issues.
