Job summary

builtroom is seeking a diligent Civil Engineering professional to lead on-site activities for residential renovation and interior fit-out projects in Dubai. You will supervise daily works, coordinate subcontractors and ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree, strong site coordination and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with English communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in residential renovation, interior fit-out or construction preferred.
• UAE experience is preferred, but strong candidates without UAE experience may apply.
• Good understanding of architectural, civil and MEP drawings.

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, designers and the procurement team.
• Review drawings and identify technical or site‑related issues before execution.
• Conduct regular quality checks and ensure proper workmanship.
• Prepare daily site updates, progress reports and site documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, snagging and project handover.
• Ensure proper health, safety and site organization.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively resolve site issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in residential renovation, interior fit-out or construction preferred.
• UAE experience is preferred, but we are also open to strong candidates without UAE experience.
• Good understanding of architectural, civil and MEP drawings.
• Strong site coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Organized, highly motivated, punctual and accountable.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site priorities.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.
• Must be based in Dubai.
• Immediately available to join or on a very short notice period.
