Qualifications

• Experience managing design-to-site processes on luxury residential, hospitality, or branded residence projects.
• Strong UAE/GCC market experience in high-end fit-out or interior design environments.
• Excellent reading of technical drawings, specifications and construction docs.
• In-depth knowledge of finishes, joinery, FF&E and luxury detailing.

Responsibilities

• Act as design authority on site, preserving design integrity through construction and fit-out.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent.
• Review and approve shop drawings, samples and mock-ups against original specs.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and MEP teams to resolve on-site issues.
• Manage material coordination including joinery, custom furniture and bespoke fixtures.
• Liaise with architects, consultants and client-side team to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between design docs and site conditions.
• Support snagging, quality control and final handover processes.
• Maintain clear communication between site team and studio.

They are seeking an experiencedSite Design Managerto join a landmark luxury scheme in one of Dubai's most prestigious locations, spanning both hospitality and branded residence components.

This is a hands-on role for a designer who thrives at the intersection of studio and site — someone who can protect design intent through construction while working shoulder to shoulder with contractors, consultants, and the wider project team to deliver a flawless final product.

The Role

The Site Design Manager acts as the critical link between the design studio and site execution, ensuring that every detail — from joinery to finishes to FF&E — is delivered exactly as intended, without compromise.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the design authority on site, ensuring design integrity is maintained throughout construction and fit-out
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent
• Review and approve shop drawings, samples, and mock-ups against original design specifications
• Coordinate closely with contractors, subcontractors, and MEP teams to resolve on-site design and technical issues
• Manage material and finishes coordination, including joinery, custom furniture, and bespoke fixtures

What We\'re Looking For

• Proven experience managing the design-to-site process on luxury residential, hospitality, or branded residence projects
• Strong UAE/GCC market experience, ideally within high-end fit-out or interior design environments
• Excellent working knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, and FF&E in a luxury context
• Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or SketchUp
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders on site
• Excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for design quality and craftsmanship
