Job summary

Connect Resources in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to manage and coordinate civil construction activities at the project site. You will supervise site execution, read drawings and specifications, and ensure work aligns with project requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with preference for wastewater treatment, drainage, or related infrastructure projects. UAE/GCC experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in sewage treatment, wastewater treatment, sewage stations, drainage, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Experience as a Civil Engineer, Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or Project Manager.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good project coordination and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and site management abilities.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate civil construction activities at the project site.
• Supervise site execution and ensure work complies with drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and daily site activities.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Ensure construction activities meet approved methods, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical and operational issues.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates and project documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, approvals and other project requirements.
• Support project planning, scheduling and timely completion of works.
• Ensure coordination between civil works and other project disciplines.
