Wood seeks an experienced PMC Mechanical Engineer (Rotating) for a site-based role to oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up of rotating equipment. You will ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence for high-profile energy projects at the project site.

Key responsibilities include supervision of installation, alignment, testing, and coordination with vendors and construction teams, while ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 10+ years of experience in rotating equipment engineering within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, or Energy projects.
• Proven experience in installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.

Mansioni

• Supervise installation, alignment, and assembly of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, generators).
• Ensure construction and installation activities comply with drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor contractor performance for quality workmanship.
• Review technical queries, NCRs, and field engineering issues.
• Witness testing, mechanical completion, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and construction teams to resolve site issues.
• Verify QA/QC requirements are implemented and maintained.
• Provide status reports on rotating equipment activities and progress.
• Support commissioning/start-up teams by troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Ensure HSE compliance and promote safe work practices on site.
• Review method statements, ITPs, and construction procedures for rotating equipment.
• Participate in punch list clearance, handover, and final acceptance of systems.
