Job summary

Celebrity Cruises is seeking an experienced Pastry Cook to oversee pastry shop operations aboard the ship, ensuring smooth production daily in accordance with company policies.

You will manage production, quality and presentation of pastries for daily menus, assist in forecasting and waste control, and help set up pastry displays across buffets while maintaining USPH compliance. The role requires attention to detail and willingness to perform related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' pastry cook experience in upscale settings such as hotels, resorts, cruise ships or banqueting services.
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency requirement.

Responsibilities

• Ensures smooth operation and control of the Pastry Shop and daily production according to company policies.
• Responsible for production, quality and presentation of pastry and dessert items for daily menus.
• Assists in preparing production forecasts and recording leftovers to control waste and food costs.
