Job summary

PPOAR in Sharjah is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, budgeting, and contract negotiation. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to keep projects within budget and schedule.

The role requires strong construction knowledge and clear communication under pressure. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project costs.
• Develop budgets and monitor project expenses.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to review progress and identify potential issues.
• Monitor project progress and make cost-saving recommendations.
• Prepare progress reports for clients.
• Resolve disputes and conduct final inspections to ensure quality.
